Here are some interesting facts about the cruise:

1. The total distance the ship traveled during the cruise was 9,965 nautical miles,  or 11,460 statute miles.  The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,902 statute miles, so we traveled the equivalent of 46% of the distance  “around the world”.
2. According to Princess, the ship travels about 43 feet per gallon of fuel, which is about 123 gallons per statute mile.  Based on the total distance traveled of 11,460 statute miles, the estimated fuel usage was 1,409,580 gallons.  Don’t want to see the fuel bill!
